政府突然改變政策，不收高中以下的學生泳池維護費，也就是說，學校有泳池的國小國中生，在每學期註冊費裡，不會再和他們收 "泳池維護費150元"。
別的縣市有沒有取消，這我不知道，但我所在的學校是取消了；
這不起眼的150元，可是足以支撐泳池所有的維護修繕費用，一旦取消了，我們家泳池經營岌岌可危，因為學校不可能做虧本生意！
原本，學校半威脅我們要外包給其他人，但每年都會流標，因為這一個小小的25不標準泳池，沒有SPA或蒸氣室等其他設備，實在太陽春，所以根本沒人想包 = =
後來學校開始考慮閉館，讓我提心吊膽好久。
在過去這三、四年，有無數次，我在心裡偷偷希望學校能關閉它，這樣我的爸媽才不用工作得那麼辛苦，不必一直輪流顧守 (因為泳池收費便宜，再僱用其他人不划算，所以爸媽和我三人，都是救生員和教練)。
而我也不用在休假出外玩的時候，深受腦中爸媽辛苦工作的身影的內疚煎熬。
最有趣的是，當得知它真的很有可能關閉，我竟然依依不捨，感到非常落寞失落！！
這三、四年，泳池是我們家的生活重心，全家圍繞著它打轉。
因為有爸爸的承租，成就現在的我，也小小的改變了上千人的人生 (近四年的學生數累積下來)…
有人成為救生員也考了教練，讓越來越多人學會游泳；
有的人培養游泳的習慣，健康狀況大為改善；
也有的人和我一樣，在這兒交了好多朋友…
面臨可能即將失去的愁悵，我甚至已著手開始準備連署救泳池的活動了…！
後來學校勉強妥協，只開放五至八月，因為只有開放這四個月份，學校和我們才會有賺頭。
可是這樣就失去爸比和我推廣游泳的意義了！
要知道，許多人也在淡季受惠呀！！
坊間很多陽春泳池是如此運作沒錯，那是因為他們是以營利為目的，在夏季大賺一筆就關閉，不願負擔淡季增加的人力及其他成本；
但我們不一樣！！！
經過一番斡旋 (感謝爸比Orz)，學校總算答應明年讓我們續租，只不過一、二月得閉館整理，因為一、二月實在是大虧錢的月份。
這實在是令人驚喜意外的結果，皆大歡喜，實在太好了！！
而爸媽也打算在這兩個月，好好的休息喘口氣… :)
走筆至此，我由衷的感謝老天，讓我們的用心得已延續下去。
明年，一起加油，我們也樂得繼續當愚公^^！
後記：體委會最近統計，國人最常從事的運動為散步、跑步和快走，身處四面環海的臺灣，推動游泳運動仍需大家一起努力！
